Librarianship is not about being an anti-social hermit and saying "shhhh" all the time. Librarianship is about service and education. Ideally, a library should be a hub of social interaction wherein knowledge, ideas, and aid are freely exchanged and grown.

To cultivate this belief, Carina enrolled in Rutgers' online Masters in Library Information Science program, from which she recently graduated. Her primary passions are helping others and technology, therefore any position combining those two loves would be of extraordinary interest to her.

Carina also has a special interest and passion for virtual librarianship and distance learning, believing that library services should be available to all patrons 24/7, if possible. Don't have this at your library? Let me help you!

Carina currently lives in Branchburg, NJ with her husband Mike, her daughter Emma Rose, her Portuguese Water Dog River, and her Standard Poodle Zen.
